Sales Executive

Panther Express is seeking a salesperson with start-up experience and the ability to work in a fast-moving and challenging environment.

This individual needs to be able to generate new business through lead generation and sales execution follow-through. The primary target market for Panther's offering is web publishers and ecommerce players with a significant Internet presence, so an established Rolodex and familiarity with the market is a plus. Deal size will be range from $25k to $1 million. Salary is commensurate with experience. Commissions are uncapped.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of three years successful outside sales experience preferably in a technology, Internet, or online media related business.
• Ability to communicate the business benefits of a solution, value proposition and ideas succinctly at all levels throughout prospect organizations
• Possess strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, and attention to detail
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, mature, and reliable

Business Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer

Panther Express is seeking a strong Business Solutions Architect (BSA) to assist in working with top tier Internet properties to evangelize and deploy of cutting edge content delivery technology.

This critical function within the organization will provide high-visibility for individuals seeking growth.

The BSA will utilize both business and technical acumen to gather and understand a prospect’s business and technical needs to effectively communicate Panther’s value proposition and appropriate solution. This fast-paced, high-growth environment requires a high-energy individual with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously. The BSA will drive revenues by managing the technical pre-sales and deployment processes.

The position has the unique opportunity to work with multiple organizations. BSAs will work with sales to educate prospective customers about the business advantage of using Panther's services through conference calls, site visits, presentations, technical evaluations, and implementations. BSAs also interface with Product Management and Engineering to help guide product direction based on client feedback and competitive research.

Successful BSAs will have opportunities for leadership positions within the group.

Implementation Engineer

Panther Express is seeking a strong Implementation Engineer (IE) to assist in working with top tier Internet properties to deploy our content delivery technology and also help ensure top performance.

This role will provide a way to quickly learn about Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and understand Internet performance.

The IE will utilize both business and technical acumen to gather and understand a prospect's technical requirements to provide the proper solution. This fast-paced, high-growth environment requires a high-energy individual with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously. The IE will also help answer existing customer's technical questions and implement additional sites to drive revenue. The IE will also help look into performance charts to ensure high level of service delivery.

The position has the unique opportunity to work with multiple organizations. IEs will work with the sales team to increase and maintain customer revenue. IEs also interface with Product Management and Engineering to help guide product direction based on client feedback.

Successful IEs will have flexible career paths depending on their interests to become more technical or more business focused.

Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking *A* level, driven developers with experience writing custom software in a distributed systems environment. This person must be able to produce quality code quickly. This is a startup; therefore, the right person should not be intimated by long hours, but the reward will be significant.

All our custom software is highly tuned for performance and scalability. The right candidate will be someone with a strong background in custom server components. We're not looking for J2EE engineers. We're looking for people who really understand computer and Internet architecture.

Customer Support Engineer

Panther's Customer Support Engineers ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring and troubleshooting Panther's global CDN infrastructure 24x7x365, and handling customer support issues promptly, effectively and conclusively. In this role, you will work closely with Panther's customers, infrastructure service providers, network and systems engineers, and software developers to perform root-cause analysis and prompt resolution of hardware, network and software issues affecting the Panther CDN.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary escalation point for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving CDN issues affecting mission-critical production customer traffic
• Create monitoring tools, perform systems and network administration, and coordinate software installation for Panther's global CDN infrastructure
• Solve complex issues related to various components of Panther's global CDN infrastructure
• Develop and document procedures for problem resolution
• Provide notification to customers and the Company in the event of CDN infrastructure issues
• Work closely with network engineers, systems administrators and software engineers regarding technology and hardware upgrades for Panther's CDN infrastructure

Skills

Required:

• Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and thoroughly in order to quickly and accurately convey complex information regarding mission-critical production issues to varying audiences
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP and DNS
• Experience with Unix (preferably Linux) systems, as an operator or administrator
• Extremely detailed-oriented and process-oriented
• High-bandwidth, self-motivated self-starter who works well with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• Knowledge of scripting (shell, Perl, Python, etc.) and command-line utilities (curl, dig, traceroute/MTR, etc.)
